Ogunquit - The Milestone

"The condition of room and facilities was very good; all well maintained and relatively up to date. Location is good--easy access to Ogunquit village and I-95. Check-in was quick and easy; my paperwork had been prepared before I arrived so it was very easy. One front desk clerk was very helpful and sincerely pleasant; one was somewhat brusque. When I asked about parking for a visiting friend, I was told that no one except guests were allowed to park on facility grounds, even though I clarified how the friend was stopping by for about half an hour before going out to dinner. During the day, when there are many, many open spaces, there should be no restriction on visitor parking, though I understand that there is limited parking so when all guests have returned later at night, and I can see why no visitor parking would be requested after about 9 p.m. However, the stay was pleasant--my third stay at the hotel--and I hope to return."

"This property is a little older but seems like they're working to update it. The rooms were clean and the beds and pillows very comfy. The pool is clean and there are grills, horseshoe pits, tennis, basketball, etc. It's not the 4 seasons but you should know that from the price. You'll be comfortable and clean and it's more than sufficient. AC worked so well that we were cold in the room on a 90 degree day."

"I love this property and would have stayed there again. Until I brought up a very important issue that I think everyone goes there for: "to relax". The room air conditioner sounds like a jet engine. And, trust me, I do not have sensitive ears. When I brought it up to the receptionist her answer was, "Sorry to hear that." I am certain nothing will arise from that complaint. She did not care or seem concerned that other people might feel the same. I think this is the only reason I would not stay there again. Another minor issue is the pool waitress was all alone taking care of too many people. Not sure if they have a staffing issue. She did a great job though."
