Pala Casino Spa And Resort
Clean room, comfortable bed, decent ac. There's some wear to the wardrobe and the bathroom but overall its spacious and clean. Staff was helpful. I can't rate the pool and gym bc those were closed during our stay.

Best Western Carlsbad by the Sea
The room was a good size but maybe a bit rundown. The carpet was a bit stained and the bathrooms looked a bit dirty. Overall it was ok and very convenient. The breakfast was good and it was very nicely maintained in there. The lady in charge at breakfast was super helpful and nice.
