Hyatt Vacation Club at The Welk, San Diego Area
We really liked rhis resort only that the sofa bed cover and sheets were never changed out super dirty. I did call fronf desk and rheh sent clean one up. The slide is also only open until 4:45pm so kiddos weren't able to enjoy that. Resort is nice by mountains

This is an ideal location for getting around. Breakfast staff were great. Check in person took so long to check us in and then gave directions we couldn’t understand. Best Western Carlsbad by the Sea
The staff was so friendly, the location was walkable to food and the beach. Our room was ok - we were near the expressway so very noisy but you get use to it! La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Carlsbad - Legoland Area
It’s pretty worn out and the carpets were sticky. Also, was wakened at 6am by a loud landscaping tool droning outside. It was nice having a bunk for the kids but the rooms, in general, are ready for some maintenance and repairs
