If you've been to OCMD before, or any of the mid Atlantic shore sorta, you know there aren't any Ritz level places to stay. However, between price, location and cleanliness, I think Gateway is one of the best options. Always pretty well maintained, friendly staff, tight but ample parking, and a block from the boardwalk. Pretty hard to beat.

Pros: Staff was super friendly!! Cleanliness. Con: TIGHT parking spaces, and on an angle, making it quite difficult to maneuver. Suggestion: rooms offering a kitchenette. Overall, I would definitely stay again.

Overall was a great stay for the price only thing lacking is a bigger pool. The pool was way too small for the occupancy the hotel can handle. Found myself waiting to get in the pool for upwards of 1-2 hours. I was leaving the hotel and going to the boardwalk in hopes someone would leave.

Stayed in 505 , great view of the ocean . Large Balcony. Very Clean. No Safe in room, recommend better coffee selection in lobby though. Dunkin is 4 blocks away. Would stay again.

The Gateway was really excellent value for a cost. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My family has stayed in many places around Ocean City and this location was great for us. The lobby was extremely inviting and my son loved the complimentary coffee / hot chocolate bar. The pool area was clean and comfortable. We definitely can't say enough good things about this place.

We have bin traveling for 9 yaers to Ocean city and this has bin the best hotel we have stayed in parking was awsome we always found a spot unlike other hotels the loby was a good place to hang out in the staff was also verry great and kind the cleaning people always had what we neaded and always smiled and greeted us the people at the front desk wear so kind to us and greated us i verry much recommend this place 5 out of 5
