「Our first post lockdown trip within the country. We accidentally booked the accessible room. Staff was very helpful and changed to another normal room for our 4 night stay. Stylish room with well equipped kitchen. It was a bit warm in the room though. Another little down side was the ground floor room has less natural lights. Delicious breakfast from café Mayvn. 「The food was fantastic. I have stayed there on many ocassions with my family and it is great value for money and it's an easy bus ride (30 mins) into the heart of Edinburgh. Stayed over for 2 nights and spent a day in Edinburgh at the Christmas markets. If you are looking for a quiet spot outside the city with a swimming pool , amazing views and some homely luxury , with a Scottish Castle feeling then this is where to stay. Great hotel. 」
