I arrived really late and it was no problem. Place was clean and kinda retro cute. The area is kinda funny. Super close to piedmont st that’s great for walking and shopping. Lots of great restaurants in area. Funky coffee shops and little restaurants on same st as motel as well. Across from car dealerships and very close to Kaiser medical center.

If you expect a clean place to sleep, this will be ok. (I could smell cleaner, but there were some stains from age) If you are expecting quiet, 3/5 stars (There was some loud traffic and car alarms.) If you want amenities and a place to have something to do, you will be disappointed 2 out of 5 stars.Safety is ok. The gated parking was nice, but it is extremely limited. Check in was a little confusing because we didn’t have any codes, so we had to ask (via intercom) to be let in, and didn’t know what to do with the car initially. As a 2 star hotel I would give it a 4-4.5 rating. .

There were stains everywhere, door didn’t close very securely. Doesn’t look nearly as clean or new as the photographs. AC didn’t really work. There’s no lobby. It’s just a sketchy old motel with a new paint job. There’s like 3 different names used throughout the property, even though it was cheap for the area, it felt like a scam. I wouldn’t stay here again.
