Excellent hotel. Very helpful owners, who gave a lot of good tips for our visit. Very well located. The hotel is very near a lot of the sights of Nuremberg and within easy reach of the train station. Spacious, comfortable room. Great breakfast.
We visited Nürnberg for the Christkindlmarkt and were very impressed with the Franconia City. It's a small authentic family-owned and operated hotel in a great location in the old town. The operators were exceedingly friendly and helpful, and the facilities were top-notch. You can tell that the family understands travelers' needs -- the rooms are very well designed and appointed. One special and amazing surprise was the unbelievable water pressure -- probably the most relaxing shower experience of the trip. They even left us a nice fruit/candy/Christmas gift at the door! When we return to Nürnberg, we will absolutely make it a priority to stay at this property.
This was a convenient one night stay in a 3 star hotel. Great spacious room, big bed and a great buffet style breakfast with helpful and professional staff.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The rooms are lovely and extremely comfortable. The staff is delightful and so very helpful. The decor is charming and inviting along with being in a great location. We can't express enough the wonderful stay we had. Thank you, Kerstin &Tim!
This small family run business was great. Dealt primarily with the son, Tim, who could not have been nicer. He provided extra bedding and even went out and bought ice to cool our drinks. There was no elevator, but we knew this coming in and Tim took our heavy bags to the room. Free wifi. We were across the street from the oldest sausage hall in Germany (c. 1419) and a 10 to 15 minute easy walk to the center of the old town (even as elderly walkers). The breakfast (extra charge) was well worth the price. Typical German breakfast with cold cuts, cheeses, fresh and pickled vegetables, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereals and breads. We would definately recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Ausgezeichneter Gastgeber, ausgezeichnete Lage, sauberes Hotel mit interessanten Objekten in jeder Ecke. Allerdings gab es eine Störung des Warmwassers in beiden Nächten unseres Aufenthalts. Ansonsten: perfekt.
