Great , comfortable stop over

Comfortable hotel with easy access off the motorway. Fantastic variety continental breakfast including boiled egg cooked to order. Attentive staff. Room quite basic but had everything you could want or need. Beds comfy. Quite remote but there are budget restaurants and a pizza restaurant within easy walking distance. Gardens looked lovely despite it being a cold and wet day.

Not for summer. But a nice find nonetheless

The staff was great. The room was clean. Had it been in fall or winter, the comfort would have been fine. The lack of air conditioning in August made it too warm. Also the bed as a double had a wooden board in the middle. If you’re there with a significant other, snuggling may be difficult. But I do recommend this place. The staff was wonderful. Good breakfast.
