Laundry, unfortunately, was not convenient. We never could figure out how to operate the machines. We were told to call the number on the wall, no luck with that either. Fortunately if we took tram number 7 going towards the train station there was a laundry mat one stop up and the tram stop right at the laundry mat. So we got clean clothes after all. When we saw the staff they were always very pleasant. When we arrived our room was spotless.

The overall experience was below average. It is always concerning to see a sign in the room that says a full score review will result in discounted stays. Starting from before check in my questions about luggage storage was never answered. The check in was delayed by a short while as the room was still being cleaned despite the check in being late at 4. We were given a room on street level facing the footpath, meaning that we cannot open the window or let the light in without everyone walking past seeing us. The mattress was 15cm thick only and pillow was very very very flat. We also found an eye mask from a previous guest that made us wonder if the sheets were even changed. For the kitchen, the only knife is something smaller than an average fruit knife, don’t expect to cook properly here. Lastly, we also couldn’t check out a bit later and had to leave at 10. Honestly, we got this place for the kitchen to make Christmas dinner, it is not worth all the trouble and the experience.

Awkward keyless entry system

Overall the apartment meat our needs. The unit is a bit small but was functional. The best thing about the apartment was that it's within walking distance from most things. The train station is a 10 minutes walk away and city center is not much farther away. One thing I don't like is their keyless entry system. One day there was an issue with the network and I could not get into my apartment without spending several minutes on the phone with customer service.
