「Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. 「Breakfast we didn't have as it was extra so can't comment on that , the views were amazing and we had a room looking out across the moors , the room was pretty bit obviously old and creeky ,massive bathroom with bath and separate shower , the cold tap in the bath didn't seem to work ,no water cold water came through, bed seemed to be on the small side even though was advertised as king size ! Narrow corridors and clunky doors separated the rooms along it and unfortunately inconsiderate noisy...

「Great location for Saltburn & Whitby, lovely, quiet village. Sunday lunch was delicious, big portions, very good value for money. Would highly recommend.
