"The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available."

"You would be hard pressed to find a more centrally located hotel. It's not even 2 minutes walk from Lime Street station. You'll be sure of a warm welcome especially if Sue is on duty. The reception team are fantastic. Now, the rooms. Their is no air conditioning in the rooms. Their was a fan provided but it was like a large office fan. It was incredibly noisy. I got a street view room which are quieter. However, it's a city centre next to a train station with limited sound proofing The bed was ok but the pillows were not for me. Would I stay here again ? Not in the summer. But yes, on colder months I would stay here again."
