"This property is charming. The rooms are very comfortable. The bed is comfortable and housekeeping does an excellent job. My room was cleaned everyday. The breakfast that is included was delicious. A nice variety of breakfast foods. Natalie does not speak very much English so it is hard to communicate but send a message through the Expedia app and you get an immediate response. You could still do a little cold plunge and restore your muscles after a day adventuring. A fridge in the room would also be nice. But, overall for the price and...

Solar de Boaventura

8/10 Good

"Staff were excellent. Property very nice and good location for hiking and sights in the North of Madeira."

Hotel Euro Moniz

10/10 Excellent

"Overall, we had a great stay! The hotel was lovely and offered excellent amenities, including a pool, sauna, steam room, and an excellent breakfast buffet. The location was also great, and we really enjoyed how peaceful and uncrowded the hotel felt during what appeared to be the off-season. At times, it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The main downside was that the rooms felt a little dated, and the walls seemed quite thin. We could hear conversations from the room next door so clearly that it felt as though the guests were in the same room with us. As the hotel didn’t appear to be at full capacity, it would be a nice touch if guests could be allocated rooms with a little more space between them when possible. The €5 parking fee was reasonable also a great bonus and provided peace of mind, although there appeared to be only around 10 parking spaces available. Fortunately, as it wasn’t particularly busy during our stay, parking wasn’t an issue. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and thought the hotel had a lot to offer. Previous reviews mentioned unfriendly staff however that was not our experience. We had the most helpful and friendly staff encounters. At breakfast we had the pleasure of speaking to a gentleman in charge of checking guests in he told us about the island and his family history there. Nice personal touch."

But, overall for the price and the views it was absolutely worth it and we would do it again!"

Santana in Nature Bed & Breakfast

8/10 Good

"The view from our room was amazing! The view alone made the hotel great. The room needs a bit of an update but it was good for the one night we stayed. The floors were very creaky and the rooms were not soundproof so you could hear any noise from the hallway. I was a bit confused about where to check in but the staff was kind and helpful. I liked how quiet the area was and it was not a very busy street, but didn’t have great cell service. We had no issues finding parking when we stayed. We didn’t eat at the hotel but ended up going the next town over to have our meals."
