Lo positivo: La habitación, de estilo clásico colonial, es amplia y ofrece vistas al mar. El alojamiento dispone de parking y está a corta caminata del pueblo y del mirador de San Cristóbal. El desayuno es correcto. El jacuzzi y piscina son excelentes para disfrutar de las tardes; las toallas se facilitan por un depósito de 10 € que se devuelve al entregarlas, y la sauna tiene un coste de 10 €. Los salones y las zonas comunes son muy agradables. Lo negativo: La cama es muy dura y se notan los muelles. El aislamiento con las habitaciones contiguas es limitado y se escuchan claramente los vecinos.

Albergo molto bello e caratteristico, dal fascino antico, perfettamente immerso nel contesto rurale e naturale del luogo. Molto tranquillo, camera spaziosa e pulita, bella la zona benessere con piscina e vasca idromassaggio. Eklatant ist, dass es im Zimmer nur ein Nachkästchen gab und nur eine Steckdose, das ist nicht zeitgemäß, Internet auf dem Zimmer hat auch nicht funktioniert. Das Frühstücksbuffet könnte reichhaltiger sein, ist aber ok. Der Kaffee aus dem Automaten am Buffet ist nicht gut, auf Wunsch bekommt man aber einen Kaffee nach Wunsch (z.B. Cappucino). Die Einrichtung ist alt/elegant, mit viel Liebe zusammengestellt, aber irgendwie hatten wir den Eindruck, dass das Hotel nicht 'lebt', da fehlt der Spirit, die Herzlichkeit. AE in Restaurant ist nicht zu empfehlen, aber es gibt einige gute Restaurants in 5-15 min Entfernung. Alles in allem trotzdem gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Beautiful looking property but RED flags appeared immediately upon arrival. Wifi was broken on first day. Hot tub is not hot. You have to pay extra for sauna. Have to leave a deposit for pool towel. Bed is uncomfortable. Extremely hard. First morning breakfast, automatic coffee machine was broken but they wouldn’t provide coffee using the $5k machine at the bar. Threaten to charge people who take an extra piece of fruit with Them when they leave breakfast buffet. These signs are disappointing. Never experienced this before at any hotel with this star rating.

Staff was very nice. Very basic accommodation- no AC, dark, small room, food ok, but expensive for what it is. Nice pool, lukewarm hot tub, good shower pressure. Bed is super uncomfortable, hard, springy. There may be better rooms in the updated building, but I don’t know.

Parties communes mieux que notre chambre

Chambre correcte mais un seul oreiller par personne, une couverture (et non une couette, attention pour les allergiques) et un lit pour 2 de petite taille, grande et belle sdb, vue bouchée par une haie devant le parking, isolation ok sauf si voisins bruyants comme les nôtres :-( Parties communes très élégantes de même que l’espace spa. Attention pas de places de parking pour tout le monde au sein de l’établissement malgré 2 parkings. Petit déjeuner ok mais sans plus.

Fint, lite hotell på nordkysten av Madeira

Bodde der tre netter. Var stort sett på farten på dagtid, men sov og spiste frokost på hotellet. Ligger i en liten landsby og man bør ha bil for å komme til og fra. Fin hage og innendørs svømmebasseng som vi ikke rakk å prøve, men så rent og pent ut. Fine rom, men ganske lytt, spesielt fra spisesalen nedenunder.

Herrenhaus in wunderschöner Umgebung

Ein sehr schönes Landhaushotel mit 20 Zimmern. Sauber, sehr nettes Personal, Frühstück gut, Zimmer gross. In einem kleinen Dorf mit einem kleinen Geschäft, Snackbar, Apotheke, eine andere Bar. Mit Meerblicjmk, von Bergen u.geben. Schwimmbad mit Sauna eine tolle Sache. Abendessen im Hotel möglich. Ruhige Gäste, überwiegend ältere Wanderer. Im Winter (ich war Anfang Februar dort), an regnerischen und wi digen Tagen kann das Zimmer etwas kühl anfühlen, also am Besten warme Hausschuhe, warmes Pyjama und warme Sachen mitnehmen. Ein Heizkörper ist vorhanden wird von 16 Uhr bis ca 8 Uhr betrieben aber an kalten Tagen reicht er nicht, um das geräumige Zimmer richtig warm zu machen. Schöne Möbel im alten Quinta-Stil, unten ein sehr grosser Aufenthaltraum. Alles schön revoniert.
