Hotel Riu Palace Aquarelle - All Inclusive

"First time in Jamaica and it has exceeded our expectations. We’ve stayed at Riu resorts in other locations before and Riu Aquarelle is definitely up to Riu standard.
The staff was great, food buffet had nice choices including a great fresh juice bar in the morning. We tried Napoli-Italian restaurant and really liked it. The steakhouse was ok, good filet mignon but the sides were lacking. Carrots were too sweet, fries are not my choice with steak and creamed spinach was not the greatest either.
The beach is beautiful, plenty of umbrellas and shade. Great entertainment team, kids club and activities for adults.
Would certainly come back to this property."

"Overall I enjoyed the beautiful property, my room was gorgeous, and the swim up bar was pretty awesome too. However, the property was huge and some of the main elevators were down during most of my stay. I had to walk to an elevator that was working or take the stairs to the 6th floor. Even if I walked to a working elevator it felt like a half a mile. The amenities say you get a bottle of spirits each day of your stay. When I noticed my spirits was not replenished the next day I called the desk to be told it is a one time deal. Disappointing but the all-inclusive made that better."

"Resort needs updating. Everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, our curtains were not on track properly and very difficult to open/close. Food in the Samurai Restaurant and the Italian Restaurant was mediocre. We did find a good variety of offerings in the Buffet and chose to eat out on the patio for breakfast and dinner which was quiet and relaxing. The service in the buffet was good. Excellent desserts and omelettes too."

"The entire property was immaculate. The staff throughout our stay was helpful and courteous. The crew at the Kids Club do an amazing job. The water park is great for kids of all ages. Waitresses and bartenders were all polite and attentive. Butlers Javaughn and Pierre went above and beyond to make our week there extra special while coordinating cabanas, meals, room service, and even went out of their way to deliver some N/A beers to our room that the resort didn't even offer. Cannot recommend this resort enough for families looking to vacation in Jamaica. Plenty of food options, if we had one "complaint" it would be that food service is a little slow but I think that is just attributed to more of the "island" way of life. 10/10, would return again for sure!"
