「Beautiful gardens. Large & clean room. Excellent cooked breakfast.」

「Great welcome and communication by the people running the house, its tucked away in a quiet place with locked and safe parking behind a gate. Rooms were very clean and comfy but I didn't have any food which was kindly on offer so can't comment on that. Very friendly welcome.」

「Very easy checkin and out, helpful bag storage, great breakfast, spotlessly clean theoughout. Very convenient accommodation for parents visiting children at the universities. Good public transport links close by. Have stayed several times over the last few years and look forward to returning. 」

「The monastery has beautiful gardens to explore in any weather. The accommodation itself is spartan and authentic to the purpose, but is still good material value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again for the gardens alone, but the unique experience is also an attraction.」

「Very honest, pleasant and helpful staff. By mistake I left a backpack with very important personal belongings in the hotel canteen and left. A staff discovered and handed to reception to keep it safely. I drove away from hotel and realized the missing of backpack till 2 hours later. Heartfelt thanks !!!」

「I liked the Way it was decorated, in the theme of a log cabin (I really like log cabins ) AND the grounds are Really well looked after. Because I've just started looking after some grounds about the same size. Maybe a wee bit bigger. 」

「Very convenient to go to city centre, Very nice Breakfast. Space & comfortable room . Just the bath tub & Wash Basin were not draining as fast as usually do , perhasp it's clogging.... We would like to live in again for next trip . 」
