「This place is overpriced, dirty feeling, dark, and staff assistance non existent. No wifi except piggy backing off the casino. The casino is a small and dingy as well. I do not recommend. 40 min from Reno with the fastest way driving back to 80 in Cali - Truckee.」

「The room was super clean,convenient. Had everything needed super close to the lake. Seeing in person was even than online. The staff was super friendly and helpful grocery store literally four minute walk away lovely places to eat. Must try the Italian across the street hot tub fire pit private beach. I can’t say enough about this place. We’ll definitely come back A+++++」

「The one bedroom unit we had is fairly spacious for two with a balcony. The decor is rustic with good taste and quality furnishings. It truly is ski-in-ski-out with Red Dog lift right next to the property. Even though Red Dog — and the entire KT peak — was closed and the lower mountain runs were unskiable due to the unseasonable heat wave while we were there in mid March 2026, the base to base gondola and funitel tram are within walking distance. Overall a great place to stay for skiing, if only...

「Loved our stay here. It was very peaceful and the reception staff were very friendly. They were great with communication and instructions. We got to our cottage after hours and it was a smooth check-in with the instructions emailed to us. The cottage is very comfy and spacious.It was about a 10 min drive to everything like downtown Truckee and it said 15/20 min to Palisades Tahoe but felt like less. 」
