「The property itself though small but very clean and tidy. Room size is very good for 3 persons. The staff are friendly and accommodating. However, the location is a bit far from shopping mall and cafe/restaurants. The nearby supermarket is closed on Mon & Tue. The hotel restaurant only serves dinner. You need to walk around 10 mins to get public transport. Despite this, it is a good budget hotel to stay at Canberra.」

「Yass is a lovely old town. The motel is situated close to shops. Sayed 1 night. Staff friendly. Booked room for 4 adults, was spacious. 1 Queen bed 2 singles, very comfy. Beds were clean, crispy sheets, nice and warm as it was a cold night. Air con/heater worked well. We had dinner at The Australian Hotel. Great Pub meal. Shops, pubs are walking distance, very convenient. The motel 'is what it is' 3 star 'Old School' but it was clean and comfy. Would stay again. 」

「Lovely well appointed cottage (just one of two) on an equestrian property with beautiful views towards the ACT. Rural setting only six clicks from Canberra but a world apart. Lovely owner Margaret. Nice extras such as local wine (wineries near by) and continental breakfast included.」
