Very convenient location. Room just large enough, but fitted sheet on bed too small and would not stay on mattress which became uncomfortable. Coffee service in lobby but coffee was weak. Hotel guests were quiet and seemed to respect quiet policy. Bathroom was clean but shower not great and water temp difficult to control. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Lots of shops and eateries nearby. Pretty good value for the price.

Called the Gatsby Hotel so you would expect even a tiny bit of decadence, but very poorly named. Also all of the bathroom towels where thin and torn through. Maid service only comes if specifically requested. We were on the first floor which was very loud at night, no insulation in the room at all

The hotel was clean, and everything was as expected from the pictures. The location is a plus, very close to Soho and Noho, very accessible to train stations and also there are a lot of options to grab a bite or a drink nearby. The only thing is that the price for this specific time of the year is way too high for what you are actually getting. But everything was clean and proper, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

This hotel was very clean. Location is great! Bathroom space is a little tight for getting ready. The only drawback to this hotel is that there is no room key. Everytime you leave and would like access to your room again you must ask the front desk to open the door.

This a clean facility in a location easy to get uptown for museums and theater. Walking is easy in soHo and the Bowery. In my 4 day stay the coffee in the common area was not consistently available. Like so many small hotels in NYC there was no ice available. The room was never cleaned in the four days

Don’t stay here! Yes NYC is expensive but spend a little more and stay at a better place. Room was just a bed and tiny bathroom, no relaxing after a long day. Basement rooms get all the street noise so forget about sleeping. TV didn’t work. Staff were friendly and location is great but this should be an emergency situation only.

The place was clean and the check-in was fine. However, there were some major problems that may have been fixed by now: 1) the electronic key making machine was out-of-order so you had to wait for staff to open your room, 2) the AC control didn't work, 3) the shower would NOT heat up.

The room was very clean. We were on the ground floor so had essentially no windows as the AC unit covered most of the window; didn’t mind as we only really needed a place to sleep but just reporting on that. Additionally none of the electrical outlets worked but luckily we brought portable chargers and had a short stay. The building doesn’t have good soundproofing so could hear noises from the street and hallway. However for the price point all we really wanted was a safe place to stay with a clean bed and a clean and functional bathroom—which this hotel delivered.

No way to could be worse. The rooms didn’t have keys. Every time you go in an out of the room, you have to have the front desk Clerck open your door every single time. Really a 0 out of 5

The property itself was fine, other than being a bit noisy and the front door had stairs to the lobby with no elevator (luggage was a problem). My only other complaint was that when I arrived to check in, I had to wait 25 minutes because the front desk attendant was gone. He “ran to the store to pick something up” I probably wouldn’t stay here again, simply because it’s just not worth the price they charge.
