If you are OK with no-frills, this is a great place. If you don’t mind just having Wi-Fi in the lobby, this is a great place. One of the things I liked is there was no carpeting in the room which always means a cleaner room, especially when it comes to a budget buy. The bed seemed clean. It had no odor. I left three dollars for the cleaning ladies out every single day and they changed my sheets and cleaned my room. The safe worked. This is something that is important to me. Also the had every channel that you could possibly want. I am a native New Yorker and needed to book something quickly upon my mother‘s death. Typically as a native New Yorker I would not go to Times Square. What I liked about the location was if you headed to eighth Avenue you had Starbucks towards the left and you had Whole Foods to the right & if you went all the way to ninth Avenue there was a laundromat and some really good restaurants. They quickly refunded $160.91 hold.

i'm sorry but our overall experience in this place is not good, firstly, i think the aircon is broken but it's turned on. it is on but we didn't feel any air or cold air coming out from the aircon and we felt hot during our stay. we thought that it's just the heater because it was during end of march that we stayed, but no, i think the AC is really broken or old. we didn't get a chance to tell the front desk on the first night because we thought it's the heater and that time it was still freezing cold outside and we were so tired, we only got a chance to tell them on the last night of our stay. next, the front desk is dark and when you enter the hotel there is some smell that makes me nauseous when entering the area,, maybe they're undergoing a renovation? coz there was only 1 desk open. but the good thing about this place is it is really close to the theaters, like if you want to watch a broadway show, it is really close, like 10 min walk. and my friend is a fan of hadestown that's why she chose this hotel and this area is just in front of the theater. so if you are hadestown fan, you can stay in here. but i hope they will take a look at their AC units coz that can make a difference.

Zumka was amazing and so very nice. I had a great conversation with her all three days. She’s part of the the staff that does room service. I hope everybody could get her when they go to this hotel. And in reference to the hotel, what they hidden Jim off of Broadway deathly going back again and death. It will be staying at this location at Gallivant. Price location, Cleaners friendliness bed, comfort amazing been to New York 3040 times over my years and just found out about it on Expedia three weeks ago.

Pretty decent hotel especially for the price. Very close to time square and within walking distance of multiple subway stations. The room did have some stains or dirt on the walls but still a pretty clean room overall. The elevators sometimes did take a little while. Biggest complaint was the shower area where the water splashed outside into the floor of the bathroom so every time after a shower there would be a lot of water as you stepped out. Had to combat with placing towels on the ground. If you’re not looking to spend too much this hotel will probably be good for you but personally I would spend some more money next time and book at another place.

We enjoyed the hotel. It was a great location, staff was very friendly and was great with suggestions for us. We did a mother daughter trip and this family suite was an excellent choice for us. We will stay here in the future as well.

This hotel is not what looks like in the pictures. It's run down and mickey mouse in all the rooms. I would not recommend staying here.

The location is amazing! Maybe two blocks west of Times Square. I think one day we saw a pink/red stain on a towel after the room was cleaned but that was the only issues that I observed. The bed were comfortable and even if the rooms are “small,” we were only in the room at night after a long day in the city. The hotel has a concierge service so if you book with them and are in the city early, you can leave you bags before you check in so you can explore the city. You can also leave your bags there when you check out and have hours before you leave the city but there is a small fee. Would book again!

Excellent location. A few of the staff could be a little more helpful and polite when addressing customers needs. Other than that little detail the location could not be better. Close to theaters, subway stations and more.
