Took a leap by staying in Staten Island for our NYC trip and turned out to be great. I liked the everyday round trip on the ferry. Best of both worlds, the hustle and bustle of Manhattan by day and coming back to peace and quiet in SI by night. Next time we'll save a day to visit the local museums though.

Very clean property, beautiful breakfast nook with solid choices. coffee is available after breakfast until the afternoon which is a nice touch. beds comfy and the staff is friendly and helpful. im from staten island so i knew where its located, but its essentially in the middle of a nature preserve so not exactly nyc vibes. still great overall.
