I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at the Hampton Inn. From the moment we arrived, we encountered several issues that significantly affected our experience.
On the first night, the shower only produced warm/hot water, even when set to cold. The next day, due to heat and walking, I developed chafing and urgently needed a cold shower. Despite following instructions to run the water for 15 minutes, the issue persisted. A technician attempted a fix but was unsuccessful. I had to use a cup to collect cold water from the sink in order to wash.
The following day, after being away all day and complain in the morning, we found the problem unresolved. Another technician repeated the same failed process. Only after repeated complaints were we offered access to another room for showering.
Additionally, breakfast was extremely poor—limited variety, dry bread, and tasteless eggs. The room lacked cleanliness, had dusty doors, and only one roll of toilet paper. The hotel is clearly in need of renovation and better maintenance.
This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Due to the discomfort, poor service, and lack of basic amenities, I am requesting a full refund for my stay.
