"If you’re looking for a cool bed, that’s basically all you’re getting. I had a king room. The hotel is about utility, not luxury, and other than the cool bed the rest is IKEA; including a ridiculously hard bench and small round bistro table. A stool serves as a nightstand.
Hotel has a very youthful vibe and staff is great. It’s basically self service, including getting your own water to fill provided carafe. No bottled water, no room service, no restaurant. Bathrooms are tiny, toilet and shower share same tiny, dimly lit space and small sink immediately outside bathroom,
Location is fabulous for the lower east side.
So, if you’re looking for a cool bed, young vibe and clean efficient space to just sleep in.. It’s great. Don’t expect any pampering it’s all self service.
With all that said, given the incredible 4 digit prices the high end hotels charge in NYC, I can see how some might find a really cool bed to be exactly what they want."
