The location is fantastic, close to the subway and Central Park. But everything else is subpar. Works for a quick overnight or couple day trip. Good thing I only had 1 roommate to deal with. And you’re not spending $$$ for a bed to sleep in and shower facilities.

Fine place and staff, but needs to be a better integration with the booking platforms. Booked with Expedia, guy at front desk says there's no rooms left, finds one last minute. Upon checking out the other guy tells me the stay was not logged into the system, had to show booking on platform to prove I was even at the place. Fine stay beyond the aforementioned.

The same receptionist was on duty at the start and end of my visit. He handed me keys to a room that didn't match my booking. After I went back to him, he gave me keys to a room that was already occupied by a man. The staff member claimed this was normal. The man demanded I leave, insisting it was his room—even though it was a double room. The ordeal dragged on for an hour before I finally received keys to a different room. It was clean and vacant, but it had a shared bathroom, whereas I had booked a room with a private bathroom. On my last day, there was no staff member at the desk for ten minutes, so I didn't know where to leave the keys. He appeared after I called, but when I handed him the keys, he tossed them behind the counter. It was awful.

The room was a mess! The single restroom for 12 two person rooms disgusting, other guests used it to smoke and the smell was throughout the place. The bathroom was out of toilet paper both days I stayed. Never again!! Expedia should be ashamed having a site like this on the places they endorse for overnight stays. Just a terrible experience, one outlet with one plug for charging devices. Bad place,

i booked a room at 3am and tried to check in because i was tired and they said they didn’t have any available at the time and the check in was at 3pm so i tried canceling it on the app and ive called them multiple times but goes straight to voicemail and they wouldn’t let me get a refund for a room i did not use.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Common area is small. Refrigerator was full from guests storing big cases of beer during FIFAs final weekend but managed to store a small gift bag that had a couple of can drinks and some snacks. Room was facing the street so could hear the loud mouth people and sirens from first responders. There was no hand soap, shampoo or liquid body soap provided but luckily I brought my own. Unfortunately the elevator was not operating but a staff member assisted me with my carry on bag as I was recovering from a sprained ankle.

Bah c'est l'esprit de New York, si voulez du luxe allez a LA, SF ou LV....moi j'ai apprécié, je trouve juste dommage que les chambres ne soient pas privées dans ce bâtiment de belle architecture typiquement New Yorkaise.
