Beds are super comfy. Area felt safe, parking lot is gated with cameras & plenty of spots for guests. It is definitely within walking distance to the quarter & there is a street car stop in front of the hotel if you don’t want to walk. Staff is very friendly & helpful. There is no elevator, lots of steps & the place is confusing on how to get around from the parking area to the front desk, but not a deal breaker. The room is sparse with the “little things” (no cups in the bath room, basic cable for the TV). Maybe it was the user…

The desk clerk, Jonathon, was extremely nice, helpful, and courteous. Check in went very smoothly. The room was clean and everything worked well, except that two of three bulbs were out over the bathroom sink. Also, there was a small issue with the sound not working on the tv when we got in our room, but they immediately sent in two guys who got it working. The hotel itself looks to be in much need of some repairs in the courtyard area. Hopefully, that is being scheduled soon. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy but not much more so than much of the French Quarter area. We would stay there again if we needed to, but would probably try to find something closer to the center of the French Quarter.

Location on Rampart is great for the French Quarter as well as easy access to Frenchman Street. Just a short walk to Bourbon Street and all of the locations throughout the French Quarter that you are looking for. Friendly and inviting staff with beautiful artistry and architecture. Highly recommend for a quick getaway weekend in New Orleans. Five stars!

Staff was very kind asked for no room service, but they went in anyway. The rooms have no insulation, you could hear every word the people up stairs and next door were saying needless to say it made sleeping difficult, no refrigerator. We had greater expectations, and should not have booked through expedia.

We were sent to a room that hadn’t been cleaned, beds hadn’t even been made. We were placed in another room, that hadn’t been finished cleaning. Front desk employee was rude and made us feel unwelcome from the moment we arrived. We were only allowed 1 key for the 4 of us. Asked to speak to the manager on the phone, the front desk employee explained the situation to her and her response was, if they don’t like it, they can leave. Had we have not pre paid for the room, we would have left. Other guests experienced the same. I will not stay at this establishment again, nor would u recommend it.
