"It is a lovely hotel with all its spa facilities. Room was very comfortable. Staff very helpful. However, it does not have a central bar area where you can just relax with a drink. I will stay there again next week but I will be looking for another option in the Friesland area."

"At first glance a very strange experience at what seemed an abandoned roadside hotel. After a couple of minutes we were greeted by the host though, and from here everything was smooth. Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms and freshly cooked meals. The facilities, facades and ‘restaurant’ for sure needs a good hand to be somewhat more presentable and inviting, as it gives you a feeling that the place has had its time of glory in the past. "Nice hotel with a new name"

"Much to our horror, this hotel was 50kms from Groningen where we were to stay 3 days. The taxi cost us $320 AU. We thought it was in a suburb of Groningen. The owner was lovely and helped us find another hotel in Groningen for 2 days as we wanted to visit art galleries. It is in a lovely town but not what we wanted. Won’t be using Wotif again."
