「Stairs to the rooms were quite steep but the room was great. Comfortable bed and lovely to have fresh milk and homemade cookies. Unfortunately the shower could do with some attention as water was really slow to run away.Good selection at breakfast, staff were friendly and very accommodating. Could do with either cleaning or replacing the carpet on stairs and landing as it’s very stained and does them no favours in terms of appearance. Overall great stay and would recommend.」

「On arrival at the Hawk Inn I was greeted in a very polite and friendly manner. Booking in was extremely simple, I love the express booking in before arrival. My room was lovely, clean, warm and comfortable. Nice touches such as mini fridge for drinking water and some fresh milk instead of little milk jiggers. 「I love this Days Inn. The wonderful staff seem to care for it like it was a proper family run hotel. There is a wild garden outside for the bees and seed poles for the birds and recycling bins outside the main entrance, IN A MOTORWAY SERVICE STATION !! Always a warm human and funny welcome. The staff here make it much more than just another truckstop. Thankyou x」

「The staircase to our room is winding, and I need to go up and down before arriving at my room. The wall is thin and is not very sound proof, so I can hear what next door's saying and TV noise. It could be disturbing to someone during time for bed. There could be some seepage at the bath tub as there was a pool of water on the toilet floor after my shower, even though there was a glass door to stop water from splashing over to the floor. The car park is conveniently placed. The English breakfast...

「So homely! Even though it wasn’t a walking distance to the High Street for us, we loved everything about it ! The room had 3 beds, very spacious, quiet, clean amenities and super comfy bedding.
