"We had a very relaxing family holiday here. "The location was great Install translate before you go Ask for a bus timetable and the free tickets you get as part of your stay Uber does not work out near Nasu, no uber eats or car rides Install go taxi, it's there uber equivalent Food is scarce around the hotel so plan ahead and get food from the local shops, family marts are great, 7elevens are ok to If you eat at the buffet restaurant at the hotel you need to book it as part of the hotel booking. We did not and it cost me $214 (aud) for 2 adults and 1 child, we didn't know this ahead of time. The hot springs / baths are a no cloths zone, kids 6 and older and men and woman are just all in the same water together naked, nothing against there culture it just wasn't for me. There are claw machines absolutely everywhere in Japan so if your taking kids be sure to always have some coins on you, they range for 100¥ to 500¥ Nasu highlands park was amazing Nasu safari park was good, very small but pretty cool getting up so close with so many animals."
