The Goldwyn is beautiful BUT theres nothing to do there and we ended up at bahamar everynight.. Staff is wonderful ..it just needs either an icecream bar or a cafe something other than the 1 restaurant and 1 beach restaurant First time staying here..i prefer the bahamar..

Our room was beautiful. We were not happy with view on first floor, as soon as possible they moved us to the fifth. It was great. That was our only problem. The entire staff, from front door, front desk, housekeeping and beach; everyone was helpful and very friendly. It was our 50th anniversary, and they made it extra special.

Hotel was excellent. The pool and beach set up was exceptional. The gym was ok - clean and better equipped than most. The staff was friendly and helpful. Prices were a bit much for the restaurant and odds and ends - but not out of line for the area. The room was sold as a "golf course view" and you could see the golf course, but it was on the other side of a 4 lane highway. We had 2 days of lousy weather and the balcony area was not an place of refuge given the noise. I would recommend staying in the beach view rooms and avoid the "golf view rooms" unless you have no plans for spending time on your balcony.

We stayed at the Goldwynn in Nassau before boarding our liveaboard, and it was one of the most relaxing hotel stays we’ve had in the Bahamas. Unlike the big resort properties, the Goldwynn feels calm, intimate, and refined. The beach is peaceful and never crowded, and the infinity pool overlooking the ocean is a perfect place to decompress after traveling. It feels much more like a boutique luxury hotel than a cruise-ship terminal on land. Our room was beautifully designed, spotless, and very comfortable, with great ocean views. The whole property has a modern, understated elegance that makes it easy to relax the moment you arrive. Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Everything just worked, which after a long travel day really matters. If you want a quiet, upscale, oceanfront stay in Nassau that feels far removed from the chaos of downtown or Paradise Island, Goldwynn is an excellent choice.

The property was amazing, breakfast and lunch menu were not the best but the dinner was delicious!! I wish there were more stores near by for sacks of drinks.
