Scarborough Beach Motel
Great little place for two days. I got first level full oceanfront room and it was perfect for 1-2 people. Front desk was very friendly checking in and the room was clean. Coffee and bagels in the morning are complimentary. Will definitely be back when working in the area again.

The Pell - Part of JdV by Hyatt
A nice hotel with clean, comfortable rooms. The restaurant breakfast is excellent, especially the omelets. The staff is friendly.

Newport Harbor Island Resort
You need to improve the kitchen. No fruit at 10:00 am is unacceptable. The bakery person who made our coffee was pleasant. Spa nail tech is excellent ! The indoor pool is so tiny. And no steam room or hot tub in the spa. Overall I’d not rate it the 4 stars. Maybe 3

Hammetts Hotel
Room size was about 15' x 15' (225 SF), including bathroom. Would suffice for a private European youth hostel, not designed or apportioned or comfort. No chair, no table, no closet, no towel hangers, no floor lamp, no fridge, no microwave, etc. Very poor interior room lighting, poor bathroom lighting, ...
