"Location was ideal for our four night stay. Located a short walk from Kokura Station, we were able to get checked in and into a restaurant for dinner within 45 mins of arriving by train from Osaka. Room was clean, and adequate in size for four adults. There was no servicing of the room during the stay, which meant damp towels some days. Kitchenette had the basics which was helpful for heating up combini meals."

The staff helped us store our baggage before check in and figure out how to get the baggage to the train station. We were provided a variety of complimentary gifts, and a map of the surrounding area. "This is a beautiful property located just outside of the town of Yufuin. The service was great and the food was wonderful. We enjoyed soaking in the outdoor spa while viewing the scenery around us. The hotel shuttle from the train station was not very convenient with only one small bus per hour and reservations required in advance. We opted to take a taxi which was under US$10 and very easy. We stayed two nights and spent much of the middle day walking around the town. Highly recommend."
