"The room was very comfortable, with a large bed, balcony, great WiFi, fridge, hot shower. The staff were super friendly. Excellent pool area. It’s really close to the beach and a few restaurants/cafe and 7-11. The drive to the airport takes 5-8 minutes. Two criticisms - I had to ask reception for bug spray my first night due to flying termites in the room (10+) which did solve the problem but wasn’t pleasant and housekeeping didn’t make up my room on my second day despite my ‘make up room’ sign being on. Lastly, this is just personal preference, but please supply some coffee sachets! Not all of us like matcha tea. "

"Just a bad experience. Would not stay here again. Too far away from where you want to be! Checked in at 11 am and at 7:30 pm they finally changed my room bc the ac didn’t work. Multiple calls to get this resolved. Had a view of the pool but moved me to a suite with a small pool and no view. Was a downgrade as far as I was concerned. The excursion I booked through the hotel a month ago was cancelled and I first found out at 5:00 am the morning I was to go on it. They booked me on another excursion instead that day. It was ok but not what I signed up for."

"Starting with the positives - most of the staff at this hotel are delightful. Really friendly and helpful. We booked a pool access suite for a few nights. We got a lovely welcome at check in with a drink and good explanation of the hotel. We also got a free taxi shuttle to the airport included. The first room we were given was not great. It had a lot of marks on the ceilings, particularly in the bathroom and you could tell things such as damp had just been painted over instead of being dealt with properly. We did not have a smart tv and a lot of the cable channels were unwatchable due to bad reception. We also could not get any hot water in the shower. Our terrace opened up to the pool but was completely exposed for most of the day - no shade at all, which made it unusable in the heat and strong sun. The terrace and steps into the pool were also badly designed. The steps were outside the main room door so to get back to the terrace from the pool you had to walk through the main room. You couldn’t get in and out of the pool onto the terrace. We were given a different room on the second day which was much better - we had shade and this one had a smart tv with Netflix etc. The pool itself is tired and in need of maintenance. It also needs a filter. It’s full of dead bugs - wasps, flies, moths and filthy. Not a relaxing swim. Breakfast was sub par for a hotel claiming to be 4 stars. Definitely not worth the extra charges. "
