"Hotel Prince Seoul is located in a very good location, just a few mins away from Myeongdong Shopping street and subway station. We arrived early and was allowed early check in which was a plus point, twin room is spacious, rooms are kept clean daily, rooms are a little dated, only down side is the small bathroom and one had to climb into the bathtub to use the shower head. Basic shower cap, and cotton pad are provided, no toothbrush set given. Bottled water is provided daily and there’s a water dispenser that dispense hot or cold water at the lobby which is convenient. Washer and dryer are also available at a fee at the lobby. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel to friends. "

"We had a generally good stay with a few notable pros and cons. The biggest highlight is the location. It’s excellent, with the night markets right on the doorstep and close to the train station, as well as within walking distance to many attractions, which made getting around Seoul very easy. I would recommend skipping the hotel breakfast. Unfortunately, it was below average and not worth the price. After the first couple of days, we chose to eat elsewhere. There’s an amazing food truck right downstairs that sells Korean breakfast sandwiches, which were cheap, fresh, and far better than the hotel offering. In comparison, the hotel food felt disappointing. The bread was stale, the juices tasted like cordial, and the eggs had a strong, unpleasant smell. One major downside was the noise on our last night. At around 1am, roadworks began right outside with extremely loud jackhammering. It went on for hours and kept us awake. When I went down to reception, several other guests were already complaining, so it wasn’t an isolated issue. I understand this was outside of the hotel’s control, but it did significantly impact our stay. I would recommend checking with the hotel in advance about any nearby construction. The hotel itself was very clean, and housekeeping did a great job refreshing our room daily. The rooms were also a good size, which we really appreciated. One minor inconvenience was the elevators. "The hotel was very conveniently located, the staff were helpful. There were limited amenities in the room - the furniture and overall condition of the room was tired but very clean. The A/C had a mind of its own and either did not work or was unable to handle the weather since the room was either freezing or much too warm - my impression was that the controls in the room did nothing and it was operated by some outside force. Room service was very prompt and delicious. We called to order an iron and it arrived very swiftly. The room was very technologically enabled and we were able to order anything we needed via the tablet in the room, which was cool. Also all the lighting (and A/C, theoretically) was controllable via a control panel next to the bed, which was also neat. The windows were large but they had some sort of modern shell retrofit to the building so your view out is set back a foot or so from the actual exterior. There was a convenience store right next door which was great. It was necessary to close the curtains at night as there was a large display on the building across the street that remained on all night and flashing lights would come in the window. Overall our stay was pleasant. "
