「The best hotel great service prime location」

「Excellent property right in the centre of Funchal. We stayed in the top floor apartment V, which had a lovely balcony that has a side view towards the see and sunshine from midday. The kitchen is full of all utensils and cleaning products. Tupperware came in handy to take on hikes with you. There are a couple of points to note. There is no lift so you need to make sure you can climb plenty of steps. The mattress is quite firm and the building carries the noise so you can hear a lot of things...

「Perfect location, excellent staff, great food, spacious accommodation. Our first visit to Madeira but so many fellow guests were on repeat visits to this hotel, some on their 8th or 9th! It’s a relaxing place to stay and has really good entertainment every evening, so all in all a revisit seems very likely, thank you. Oh, and Madeira is stunning.」

「Centrally located in town. Tons of restaurants and bars to pick from. Great hotel overall. Only disadvantage is parking is either on street or in a parking garage requiring you to bring your luggage too and from where you park.」

「Was a bit hard to communicate to the front desk when informing them about my late arrival. They were very helpful on arrival but getting around the property was a bit difficult and the lack of instruction about appropriate entrances at certain times throughout the day made things a bit hard. Breakfast at the cafe on site was lovely. Make sure you inform the hotel prior to arrival if you have a car you need to park. You need a set of keys to get through all the doors and they only give you one...

「We were forced to book this hotel last minute due to a cancelled flight and no other options. It was incredibly expensive and not worth the cost. The hotel is very old and outdated and the wifi does not work. We were able to check in late and the room was clean but I would not stay there again for that price. Definitely taking advantage of low inventory on the island」

「Alles hat mit Eingangscodes funktioniert, sodass man keinen Schlüssel bei sich tragen musste. Die Kommunikation und der Service war gut. Hatten einen kleinen Defekt, welcher innerhalb weniger Stunden repariert wurde. Die Ausstattung des Appartements reicht vollkommen aus. Die Messer könnten erneuert werden」
