「Easy check-in after a late arrival, room was clean and comfortable」

「This hotel was fine, and convenient for my meeting. However, Expedia did not pay them and I had to pay out of pocket for the same room. Years of travel and I have never had this happen. Fortunately, $120 is not going to set me back, but it could be a hardship for some. Do better Expedia.」

「Had to buy linens and towels at local Walmart bc there were none provided.」

「My fourth stay at the Kalamazoo House didn't disappoint. As always, Amy is a delight and the breakfasts are a great start to a day. The room was in excellent condition and everything worked as expected. Can't wait to have an excuse to come back.」

「Never did get into a room. Arrived at 3 PM and we’re told they didn’t have enough staff cleaning rooms so there would be a wait. Many people waiting in the lobby. We came back at 8 PM and they still didn’t have any rooms. Seems the staff walked out earlier in the day. Luckily found another room about 20 minutes away. The town was sold out because of graduation and a wedding. I worked in hotels for many years and this was the worst I’ve ever seen. I’ll never stay at a Holiday Inn Express again.」

「Room wasn't cleaned fully. Dried sink, tub, and toilet cleaner still stuck to porcelain. Pubic hair on sink and tub. No hand or bathsoap stocked, no toilet paper stocked. Dirty sheets still in a pile on desk. Cleaning supplies including a bottle labeled "weed killer" left out on counter. Dirty toilet scrub brush in garbage bag on floor. I was soaked to red when I arrived I was didn't want to wait for the hassle I'd room reassignment. Place reeks of weed and very loud group of game watchers...

「I booked Upjohn House but was told I had to come to Henderson Castle to get the keys, and I should stay there instead. It was nice enough, the setting of Henderson Castle is beautiful. I had a lovely French breakfast my first morning, but when I came down the second morning, no one was around, I was told breakfast was from 6:30-9:30, and I was downstairs at 7:00. So no breakfast the second day, I was really disappointed as I left the place. I liked my little room, the bed was comfortable and...

「First of all ice machine on our floor broken all 5 days we were there. Air conditioning I. Fitness room not working and it was 90. Thirdly never had change for washer and dryer. Said would get some every day. Finally had to walk to liquor store across the street」
