"This is the only motel/hotel conveniently located on the Marion/Mullins bypass to Myrtle Beach, SC. The exterior is kept neat and clean, the AM breakfast is adequate, the room is clean and the staff were excellent during my stay, July 24-27, room 108. The facility is listed at a 2.5 rating; it is about 40 yrs old now and could use some updating. It also has a faint smell of cigarettes in the carpeted room; even though there is a posting on the front door, smokers did linger close to the entrance. Hopefully, the owners will do a refresh during the fall and winter months to be ready for the spring/summer travelers. "

"There was the smell of mold. Curtains were falling down. Ac was broken in the center. Shower was steady leaking. We just needed a place to stay after a 10 hour drive to visit family before we finished our other 10 hour the next day. The room was clean at first glance. Then when in the room there was dog hair still on one of the beds. There was water under the ac. People were trying to break in through ajointing door and main door. Overpriced for being run down and broken."
