「We booked a family room and on arrival, there was no room available as another guest had extended his stay. Staff were very helpful and we were put in a small windowless room. The aircon worked well but the room could have done with a clean. We were moved to another room the next morning only after I insisted that I wanted a room I had seen vacant. It was less than I had paid for but seemed okay. However, on closer inspection once inside the room, the toilet had a leak. They came in to fix...

「Hotel staff were polite and very helpful! My room was one king bed and one single bed. It was super comfy! The bed doesnt look like budget hotel bed at all! The room is very spacious and clean as well. It has both ceiling fan and aircond. It takes time for the aircond to be cold but that isn't a problem at all! Everything was super duper good for me. The location of the hotel is at the centre of Kuching. Very strategic! I will definitely come back! Thank you so much Abell Residences! :) 」

「There was a fire in my bathroom and they moved me to a different room. The new room they provided the drain backfilled filling up the bathroom floor with sewer water. Make sure that you bring your own toothpaste and soap. Did I mention the cockroach’s? 」

「Overall an amazing place to stay in kuching, especially if your looking for somewhere with some character. The place is rustic with a few little bits which arent perfect, but place is really interesting, with lot of history and also really clean. The hotel is near the old town and china town, with lots of bar and restaurants nearby and short was to the river front. 「Location convenient and near to most places of attraction except National Parks.Lot of places to eat out nearby.Friendly and helpful staff.」

「The bedroom TV wasn’t working throughout our stay there. Plus the in-house safe wasn’t working as well so we had to carry our valuables around while outside. Other than these minor inconveniences, the staff offered very personable and prompt service, impeccable and fast. Good location to a lot of good food places. 」
