「The apartment is one of many in the same block. Regrettably, it is unclear which photos refer to the apartment one is booking. For example they show a terraced area for dining but with no indication to which flat it refers. Also we reported that the TV did not work (or connect to the internet) on day one. By day four no one had repaired it. 」

「I don’t understand how people are giving this property a 5 star. It’s an old building, smells like a nursing home, our ceiling had a leak. When we told receptionist she said “sorry we’re full. I can’t do anything about it”. The hallway smelled like onions, the bathroom was like walking into a hospital bathroom. I mean if you’re so desperate to go to Cannes and this is all you can afford then book them. The only good thing about this place was the location. Also they have parking. Just beware...

「We’ve used Hotels.com for years and have always had good experiences — until now. This particular booking was deeply disappointing. The apartment was nothing like the listing described, and certainly not worthy of the 5-star rating shown on the site. It was damp, smelled musty, and there were visible signs of moisture damage — possibly even mold. We tried to contact both the property and Hotels.com during the stay.
