"We’ve stayed here twice, the first time eight years ago. The first time there weee macaroons on a CV piece of black slate in the room when we arrived. Not this time. And last time there was a very big wooden door at the entrance that we liked and that was also missing. That said, those are very minor points. The staff is still very friendly and helpful. The location exceptional. The room was clean and comfortable. We hope to return to Iceland in a few years and we will definitely stay here again."

"Excellent staff ,common areas , room and restaurant .Hotel is five minute drive from the action but that's a good thing. Great views. Bathrooms are big but shower was small. Solid 4 1/2 star executive hotel."

"The rooms are a little tired looking but still in very good condition so that is ok. The main problem is the bathroom. It is small and has a tiny shower cubicle enclosed with a curtain which is very annoying. The bathroom floor is full of water after a shower. Other than that, the location is good and the staff are all excellent, especially Sarah at reception. "

"Had a lovely stay in Iceland. Room was clean. For the size of the room and if it’s single person smaller bed might be more suitable. Had issues with the room key on day 1, and after reporting the issues I had continuous issues for the remainder of the holiday. Reported it a couple of times and the reply I had was we will report it to maintenance "

"Location is very good for bus tour pickup and dropoff. Hotel is by Bus Stop 12. Restaurants and points of interest are within 3 km radius. Staff were very helpful and courteous"
