"The King Suite was amazing and huge. Clean and tidy. Comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom amenities included. Always tricky with shower handles so took a while to get used to. Fresh milk instead of powdered would have been preferred. More hooks in the bathroom needed for towels to dry. A little out of the busyness of the main streets but walkable and quiet. Good selection of breakfast buffet drinks and food included. A couple of food trucks at the end of the street and a cafe across the street. Friendly and helpful staff. A little food/gift shop on site available."

"Overall the hotel was in good shape. Had trouble with inconsistent hot water in the shower. Had to adjust while taking the shower."

"The staff was friendly. The breakfast was as described. Having someone cook eggs to-order was a nice touch. We didn’t try it, though. You can see how they have tried to do the best with what they have, but it’s too old and rundown. I wouldn’t do it again."

"Clean and spacious room. Pool was cool. Hot tub was awesome. Drinks and food was good too. Definitely recommend this place even for an overnight stay. "

"The Placemakr is well situated right off Broadway. Our room was a spacious studio suite with a balcony on the 19th floor overlooking Broadway. Check-in was fine, the staff was not super engaging and apparently we were to receive complimentary drinks daily and it was not mentioned upon arrival. Pool area was also nice. We did appreciate the security of the property as well. If we return, we would consider this property again. If you park in the garage next to the DGX, beware of how narrow it is- a large SUV or truck would have difficulty maneuvering the spaces and exit. "

"Stayed over Christmas. The hotel was beautifully decorated. The atrium had lots of lights and Christmas trees. Guests were all decked out in Christmas PJ's to celebrate and enjoy their time. There staff was very friendly and helpful. They had entertainment inside the hotel and outside (Cirque and ICE) Convenient to nearby mall, General Jackson, Opry and easy ride to downtown via Uber. Waterslide park attached but we didn't use it. Lots of open space that could use more restaurants/bars in the hotel. Wonderful place to celebrate Christmas."
