"We had a nice stay here. Staff was polite and helpful. The neighborhood was quiet. Conveniently located near a grocery store, restaurants and cafes. I would stay here again."

We were very happy with our stay at the Hotel Francois 1er. Our checking in/checking out went very smoothly. Our room was very spacious for Paris standards. Very clean!!! Staff very pleasant!!! Great location- close to everything. We did not have the breakfast buffet but it looked very appetizing. Definitely recommend this boutique style hotel. You will be very happy with your stay!

The location of the hotel is nice. Silent yet in the city center. As a family of 4, we spent 5 days in Paris & found many places in walking distance. Lovely staff, clean rooms. We may opt to stay there next time.

My stay was wonderful. Friendly staff and quiet neighborhood. The rooms were very very clean and the beds were very comfortable.
I booked the superior room for my mother and I and the room was actually very spacious!
Quick walk to Metro and buses.
I would come back in the future.

I enjoyed my stay totally. I honestly have no complaints, this hotel was right by the metro and was also located in a great neighborhood. I was a solo traveler, had a room on the top floor, AND it had a balcony. I was also able to check in early. 10/10

Boutique hotel- Safe, Clean, Comfortable, Quiet, and Clean ( yes I meant clean twice)
I typically do not sleep well when I am away from home. It was our first time to Paris to celebrate my husband's birthday. However, I was well rested all five mornings I woke up at the Chess hotel. The rooms were modern with comfy beds. We had two connecting rooms behind a third door for a family of four. It's one of the best stays I had in a hotel. Virginia, Caroline, and Renaud provided excellent service....

Lovely place to stay pretty close to CDG Airport. We had to leave for the airport at 4:30 am. The hotel arranged for a taxi for us. It was there waiting for us when we checked out. It was about 30 euros for the taxi to the airport for 3 of us.

We spent 4 nights in 2 rooms at Villa Pantheon. The rooms were small but there was a door in the hallway that we could close and create a private space for ourselves and easily go between the two rooms. One room had a balcony and view of the street which we enjoyed. We spent New Year’s Eve here and popped a bottle of champagne on the balcony.
The staff is helpful and speaks English. Breakfast is included which is nice. It’s not substantial but it’s enough to get you going.

I traveled to Paris a lot, Maybe 3 to 4 times a year, and normally I try to stay at different hotels in different areas of Paris to really get a feel for the city, but I may have found my favorite hotel. Close to a lot shops, not too many tourists, walking distance to the Eiffel. Great staff! Especially, Mialy! It is comforting to be greeted with a smile every time you return and she did a wonderful job treating us like family. I will definitely be back to this hotel.

The hotel was very clean and modern, with nice furniture and friendly staff. I am 6'2" so I'd recommend getting a queen or kind size bed as I had to sleep diagonally corner to corner on the full size, but this happened everywhere I went in France. This was my first trip out of the USA so I'd recommend getting an international data plan on your cell while you're away and using Uber or similar services for taxis makes things much easier.

Arrived early and waited a while for the room, but they kindly stowed our luggage and pointed us in the direction of a great brassierie. The room was spacious and overlooked an storybook courtyard. All our needs were addressed: the concierge and front desk staff were kind and helpful. Perfect location-three blocks from the plaza overlooking the Eiffel Tower and metro and bus lines. Restaurant a bit expensive but the food was "super"

The physical hotel looks like a work of art. The staff was extremely courteous and
made us feel comfortable not knowing French.
The room was small even by European standards, but who cares when you are treated like Royalty.
I would suggest the water taxi for getting around .. It is a 15 minute brisk walk and costs 19 Euros for two days - All day.
It takes you to all major attractions and the ride is enjoyable.
There are a dozen good cafes within walking distance from the hotel.

The front desk spoke English and they were all very nice. The location worked well for my business trip, I could walk to my client location, and the 72 bus was right there as well for easy access into the more touristy parts of Paris. This particular location wasn't great in terms of cafes or tourist type things - seems to be a more residential area - but was great for me. The bed was very comfortable, and the WiFi was great most of the time (the free one requires you re-login every three hours,...
