「Hotel Matthiol is located in a quiet area which takes around 15 mintues by the hotel shuttle bus. We have the fondue for dinner inside an outdoor transparent tent which is very special and romantic. The service of the staff is excellent. It takes around 10 mins walk from the hotel to the downtown and cable car to the Matterhorn. The view from the balcony of our room is just fine since it’s not facing to the Matterhorn. The only required improvement is the water leakage problem of the shower...

"Before check-out, I'm really satisfied with whole 2-day journey in Zermatt (even the tv has some problem at 1st night). Perfect view of Matterhorn. When check-in, reception show me a paper which indicating that half-board is included. But we still need to pay the dinner at 2nd night within the daily menu. Unimaginable！ By the way, lamb is delicious in their bro hotel Julen~"
