Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa
Amazing location, but definitely felt the tone of rudeness with the staff at check in when they noticed I had purchased the stay through a 3rd party. The hot tubs where children are allowed are not the ones that face the ocean.

Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa
They gave me an upgrade after a slight complication with my reservation. Went above and beyond IMO. Excellent staff. Will definitely be back.
