The Monterey Hotel
The Monterey Hotel is excellent value for money, in a great location five minutes from Old Fisherman's Wharf. The decor could do with a bit of TLC, but it was clean and comfortable and well equipped.

Hyatt Carmel Highlands
We were given a lower floor with obstructed view. What’s worse was the upper floor was stumping and making loud noises from 2 AM to 4:45 AM. Had no idea what he/she was doing that early hours.
