Staff was friendly and helpful . The property needs some maintenance. I one room the shower mixer was faulty, making it difficult to get a steady stream of warm water. It was either too hot or too cold. The offferings at breakfast was the same each of the 5 days spent there. The fruit was a minimal sliver of water melon, half a slice of pinapple and a peg of grapefruit. The main dishes were always teh same. At dinner the service was painfully slow , and worse if there was even a 1/2 capacity.

Loved this stay. We scheduled last minute and very much appreciated the clean room and the view from our window. We had the privilege of meeting the owner and and I believe the manager of the restaurant and we appreciated their welcoming spirit. The next time we stay we will explore the snorkeling right at the foot of the property. Initially the staff was not as friendly but we attributed it to the fact that they just recently opened after Melissa. We are already planning a return trip

Hibiscus Lodge Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Ocho Rios town on Main Street The hotel gives a Mediterranean vibes as it is nestled on the edge of a cliff and very nice stone structure for the walls The hotel grounds are quite clean with nicely manicured lawns and hedging. Breakfast is very basic but edible. It’s very limited in options as they have you choose only one meat source: eggs, liver, escovitched fish, and callaloo. Sides were fried dumplings or bammy There’s a whirlpool and pool on the property and no sandy beach but a swimable beach area at the bottom of the cliff

Gorgeous view and a short drive to Dunn’s river falls, but the property is located in a very run down and noisy neighborhood. The condition of the property should be a two star, compared to another three star B&B we stayed in Montego Bay. Shower was cold in the morning, on both days.

After a travel mishap and required overnight stay in Ochos Rios, Hibiscus Lodge was a welcoming hotel with an easy check-in process. The views are beautiful and the bar drinks were great during the quick stay.

Staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating, the property was well maintained and has an excellent view of the ocean. The food wasn't the best and music in the surrounding area tends to be loud which is a downside but otherwise I had a good stay. Ps. Outside the property needs major update, but this is not the property's responsibility.

Ac leaked water all over the first room and my boyfriend clothing was caught up in the leak. However, the hotel workers were amazing in accommodating us by washing and drying his clothes. They upgraded us to a Jr suit but it was a water issue in the bathroom but we managed. The breakfast is the same daily so not a lot of options. I appreciate the kindness of the staff. They were very excellent.

This property is my favorite hotel in the Ocho Rios area. It is laid back offering a chill vibe. Clean rooms, great breakfast included, nice staff and awesome views with the upper level rooms. On Sundays you can hear singing from a church that is close by...just sets a wonderful tone with this beautiful island.

Superb from reception..to cleaning lady ..Vivian the gardener..to our breakfast waiters and waitresses..suowrb service..I had work 90 minutes away each day but.they gave a comfy sanctuary ..with a hot water shieet each time we was there for @ 6 nights ..not a flash.hotel but decent..we will be back

The room was very clean and the staff were so humbled and supportive. Whatever we asked if them they delivered to us with a positive attitude. The same goes for the owner Tony. He was so generous in upgrading us a suite for the same price. Tony kept following up on how things were going with our stay whenever I see him walking around on the property. Which I thought was nice of him to check in.

This hotel's property is absolutely gorgeous. It gives Mediterranean vibes since it's built into a cliff on the water. The staff was super friendly. Very accommodating. The breakfast was perfect. A great way to start the day. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a true jamaican experience.

My stay was okay overall, but I did have one major issue. I booked a room meant for three people, but the bathroom only had two bath towels and two hand towels — no washcloths at all. When I went to the front desk to ask for one, I was told that the type of room I booked doesn’t include washcloths. That honestly makes no sense to me. The room has a shower, so how is it that washcloths aren’t provided? What kind of room do I need to book just to get a basic item like that? Never again
