The rooms at this location are very dated! Everything from the door leading to the room to the curtains look like they have not been changed since the property opened. Chipped paint, old furniture, and insects everywhere since the doors did not properly seal at the bottom. We placed towels under the door to keep insects out but due to being on the first floor it did little. When it comes to the food, if you are expecting to experience Jamaican cuisine this is not the place for you. What saves this resort is the staff, they were excellent. I had one issue with housekeeping placing a dirty pillowcase on one of the pillows. Other than that everyone was very helpful and courteous. I wish I could rate higher but the rooms are horrible.

Property was beautiful and to die for. Everything was so nice and service was great. Drinks had the right amount of pizazzz lol. Celebrated my 25th birthday here and it was great. Room service came on time. Variety of things to immerse yourself in throughout the day or just relax.

Our recent stay at this hotel was unfortunately far from what we expected, especially given the price point. Right from the start, things were off. When we arrived, there was no warm welcome or even a basic introduction to the amenities or layout of the facility. We were left to figure everything out on our own, which felt unprofessional and uninviting. The food at the hotel was another major letdown. The quality was poor, lacking both flavor and variety. Most meals felt like they came from a cafeteria rather than a resort. In terms of in-room amenities, the hotel only provided two small bottles of water and two local beers per day in the refrigerator. That’s it. For a hotel that presents itself as a premium destination, this felt incredibly stingy and inconvenient, especially in a hot climate where staying hydrated is important. We were so disappointed with the overall experience—poor food, lack of service, and subpar amenities—that we decided to cut our trip short and head home early. That says it all.

Amazing experience!

We had an excellent 4 days stay in the Hotel. The only negative thing was the beach, too low, not a good beach. Sunset beach is good for relaxing and take beautiful pics, but the beach itself is horrible, unable to get in or swim. The staff super friendly and professional.

Couples San Souci is a beautiful, relaxing, & refreshing resort. On arrival at the gate, we liked the green foliage & bldg setup that allowed us to drop our shoulders & feel like we were about to begin our vacation. The front lobby staff was a little cold in their greetings & looked as if we were interrupting their ‘day!’ We just tried to overlook whatever was distracting them from greeting us & just asked the questions we needed answered. We would suggest giving the guests the full orientation via the in-room tv opposed to spending vacation time to attend to an orientation the next day. Also, if activities are not going to happen please advise the night before ~ I was looking forward to the Aqua aerobics that never happened. I waited at the mineral pool 20 mins before the start time. Asking staff about the class provided us with responses like ‘I’m sorry, I don’t know” 😳. I did enjoy the mineral pool and did my own exercises in the pool. CSS is a very serene, relaxing, & rejuvenating resort. Food will fit the international palette with hints of Jamaica & Caribbean dishes for all meals. Bob Marley is celebrated one of the nights, loved Panda at the Balloon Bar & the entertainment is lovely without being overbearing. Like many guests we will return & share our lovely experience at Couples San Souci!!

Birthday weekend in Jamaicaica

I had the most incredible birthday weekend at San Souci Ocho Rios! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by my modern and spotless room—it was the perfect retreat. The beaches were absolutely stunning, and the dining options were simply fabulous! The warmth and kindness of the staff really made me feel right at home. To top it all off, the live music was a huge highlight, creating an electrifying atmosphere that I’ll never forget. What an unforgettable experience!

The property was very pretty. The rooms were very big but I just felt the entertainment was not that great and there was no music I expected to hear music be able to dance and it was none of that and I felt that the resort closed by 11 o’clock.

The staff was amazing and the atmosphere was great. Property is beautiful with lots of beautiful views and activities every day. The beach area was beautiful and the bartenders were attentive. I would have preferred a tour, this was not suggested to us after we checked in. We were not able to access all the facilities. Some areas at night were extremely dark, I would have preferred more lights.
