"Very quiet room, NOT great for anyone with mobility issues, lots of stairs with no elevators. Not a problem for us, other than moving luggage. It's an old property which makes it quirky and fun, but also needs some basic updating, especially carpeting in rooms - all smelled a little mildewy. The buildings and the grounds are beautiful - I wish that we had been there to experience the casual dining, only the more upscale restaurant was open when we were there. The great lawn at the front of the hotel was nice. Would have appreciated some more dining/snack options and water/coffee in the lobby for guests."
