「It was a strange set up but it worked great for us. We didn’t see staff for more than a few minutes the entire week stay. No frills, for sure, but that helps keep the price down. 「The beach and water were perfect. Some of the beaches at the resorts past Whaler's Village were too rocky. The Outrigger was right by Black Rock for cliff diving and great snorkeling with a short walk on the beach. The pool is old, but it is being renovated. The open grassy courtyard was a great place to watch the sunset if you want to get off the beach and have shade.Housekeeping was great and accommodating when we needed more supplies like coffee pods. 「The property and rooms are very nice. Very lush and beautiful landscaping and easy walk to the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The issues that we had is that the air conditioner in the room was either not working properly, or undersized for the room. We had it set at 68 and it was hot in the room. We tried to turn it down to 66 and eventually 64, and I have a temp meter and the room was reading 80 degrees at night. It was very uncomfortable to sleep. We couldn't open the windows...
