I really loved the Outrigger. It was right on the beach, an easy walk and the snorkeling was fantastic. Saw a number of turtles each time we went out. Would definitely stay there again.

A beautiful property with scenic views and a very accommodating staff. The property is huge and has direct beach access. There’s about 20 dining options within a 3 mile radius and a grocery store within that same distance. If we ever came back to Maui, we would stay here without a doubt.

The villa set-up and amenities were amazing, however the loud garbage truck came every 1-2 mornings at 5:30am and made a lot of noise for 20mins each time. We loved being on the top story and the private balcony with sitting area and grill. We wished there was more seating near the main pools as the chairs were saved early and there wasn’t a lot of seating open to be able to watch the kids in the pool. The beach right out front is sandy and beautiful but there are a lot of large, shallow rocks, making it less appealing to swim or try water sports in. The grounds are very well kept with beautiful plants and waterfalls throughout and the cat colony was a highlight for our daughter. Overall we really enjoyed our stay aside from the garbage trucks so early in the mornings!

Our second time at Honua Kai. The resort is real nice as advertised. The staff are very helpful and the property is beautiful!
