"Gopal assisted me with registering my rental car license plate before I parked. I later provided my parking receipt and was assured that reimbursement would not be an issue, but I was told I would need to wait until checkout to receive it. Unfortunately, when I checked out, the staff member on duty had no knowledge of the reimbursement I had been promised and advised me to resolve the issue by email instead. I have since sent multiple emails and have not received a response or resolution. My biggest frustration is when commitments are not followed through on, and unfortunately that was my experience here. I wanted to give the hotel an opportunity to resolve the matter before leaving this review, but I have still not heard back."

"This hotel is as advertised. Nice, clean, on the beach. This is maybe a 3 star hotel tops. Don't go here expecting 5 star. But, it is in a great location and clean with a very nice beach."

"If you want to be in the middle of the action of Old Town, this place is it. The staff, notably Layla and David, were great. The property needs work, however. Our room hallway had significant water damage to the walls and our room toilet seat had stains on the seat and lid from previous mildew issues. The caulking around the bathroom window had active mildew issues, and we had to switch rooms due to ants. The TVs are postage stamp size, and though we are not here to watch TV, doing some late night catch up on world events is difficult on a TV that is likely no bigger than 19 inches. This place needs some TLC, and a cash infusion, to eliminate these issues that create a negative impression."

"The hotel was very close to all the local attractions, the reception is rarely manned and the €20 cash charge for checking in after 3pm is excessive The room itself was great, only downside if you needed it, there is a bidet in the room, it has running hot water,, no cold and is not plumbed into any waste pipe, so this is taped up with red and white tape"

"We had a wonderfull stay at the holiday inn Albufeira. The staff was really nice and helpful. The hotel was nice and clean, theyre renovating the inside pool and spa/gym. Good breakfast. And all this for a good price! "

"This hotel is a little paradise in the middle of a very busy town. Once you are in your room you can hear nothing. The hotel staff are like one big happy family and are so welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are of excellent standard and the pool and sunbeds have luxury cushions. It is well situated for the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. It also has a lovely spa for reasonable prices."

"It was spotlessly clean. The rooftop pool was lovely It is a basic hotel near the main town. Up a bit of a bit of a hill. Wear sensible shoes as all the streets are cobbled and some a bit slippy"
