It is a hotel located in front of the school, and it was a little noisy due to the camp during the vacation. The cleaning was very good and friendly. The swimming pool was nice, too. But the blanket was a bit uncomfortable

Fab stay for the little price...

Had a great stay. Room was clean, pool are clean, poolside cafes were clean. 24-hr reception. Cleaning service daily. Couldn't fault it for the price we paid. A cheap stay with no problems. We also had the added bonus of an east facing room, which meant we got to watch the beautiful sunrise each day. The only down side is that it is a little far from the 'action', although the taxi's in Albufeira were very reasonable, meaning we got to the old town for only 5 euro's, whenever we wanted.

Hotel was clean and well looked after, staff was friendly but two blokes serving in the regular bar and poolside bar were both great and the lady in the shop too can't remember names sorry. Location was good as was only 15 mins walk from the 'strip' or a €3.75 uber ride. One thing myself and my friends was really disappointed with however, was the absolute ridiculous price of €100 per person for the deposit of the room! €100 per room was more like it, that was a big chunk of some of our spending money as we were only there 3 nights.

We had a great time at the hotel. The only inconvenience is the distance from the beach and the Old Town but we had a car rented so it was ok. Uber was also an option.

Great value accommodation in the Algarve

The hotel is brilliant and fantastic value for money. It has two large outdoor pools with lots of facilities available to use. The hotel lies between the Albuferia Strip and the Old Town. The Strip is within walking distance and the old town a little further. The apartment was clean and big enough for 4 people. Overall I highly recommend this place.

The apartments need serious updating. the gym is definitely improperly fit with high risk equipment and the equipment was poorly maintained and filthy! The buildings are equipped with several table tennis and pool tables and several swimming pools which are very convenient for families...

Would be happy to stay here again

We had a great family stay at Jalenas Do Mar and would be happy to visit this complex again. For the price we paid, it was a bargain. We spent one week there in August 2017. Two adults, two teens and a 9 year old. Although the resort is very touristic, we had no problems in finding great Portuguese restaurants. The upside of the busy resort is that it is easy to take a walk and find entertainment each night. The hotel has entertainment most nights - it's fine/quaint and enjoyable - not in your face. The Sunday parrot show was rammed and looked great - we missed it sadly. We had huge fun singing along with Carlos one night. Libertos a high-end luxury club (adjacent to roundabout dead centre of strip) has brilliant daily artists. Ramos had a standout rock covers band one night Huge rooms and kitchen with everything you need. We were on floor 5, sea facing with beautiful views of the resort and sea from our two balconies. The weather was great for us night and day. Market at hotel good for most things. We had a hire car so easy to drive to nearby Aldi or LIDL for supplies. Nearby Pingo market near bottom of hill too. Stand out memories are the great staff. All friendly, professional with smiles. An English stag party arrived one day and slowly became very loud and rowdy poolside. The owner personally came and explained that this was not acceptable and if they persisted, they would be leaving. The lads were then gents for the remainder of their 3-day stay.
